Internship

A. Required qualifications for internship MRDSB internship program has trained National and global migration researcher, scholars and policy analysts. Publication opportunities are available to interns and our offer for interns Research and Communications internships. MRDSB seeks current college seniors and advanced-degree students as well as college graduates for full- and part-time research internships. Who are completed their bachelor or masters on Social science or Business administration related fields they can apply for Internship with MRDSB. 

Duties of Interns • Contribute to overall MRDSB research efforts, including through independent quantitative and/or qualitative research and policy analysis • Write paper drafts and prepare literature summaries • Assist in the production and dissemination of MRDSB publications • Provide administrative support to MRDSB on migration-related events • Provide communication linkage with members • Field visit, data collection, data analysis • Helping to organize seminar, conference, workshop • prepare research report

 Offers for Interns • Intern positions are unpaid • Some communication allowance will be provide (if required) • Internship completing certificate • Job opportunities for successful interns (depend on availability) • Best interns award • Free publication opportunities on International Reputed Journals • Participation opportunities on national and international conference, seminars and workshops • Opportunities to experience on interested Research field and become good researcher, trainer or coordinator 

How to apply Interested applicants should send to internship@mrdsb.org the following materials: • CV/Resume • Cover letter describing your interest in migration and/or public policy issues (please also include the MRDSB program area(s) you are interested in and the approximate dates you are available to start and finish) • A writing sample in English that show your ability to write clearly and analytically (approximately 3,000-5,000 words) • A transcript (either official or unofficial) from colleges/universities that you have attended that shows classes you have taken along with class grades Electronic submissions are strongly preferred. Internship The MRDSB Internship Programme provides students with the opportunity to learn about migration and research activities, to gain initial work experience, and/or to prepare for a degree dissertation. MRDSB provides on the job training to interns so that both they and the organization can benefit. Furthermore, internships build links with their institutions and universities. Interns are welcome to join MRDSB Dhaka Head office for a period of two to six months. MRDSB Dhaka offers interesting programme areas in the field of research on migration, development, disaster, women, gender and vulnerability within the society. MRDSB encourage interns are welcome to join our programmes working on Internal Migration, Communal Migration, International and Labour Migration, Counter Trafficking, Operations and Movements, Social Responsibility, Natural Disaster and Migration.
